Worship
There are many ways to be involved in the ministries of Bethany Covenant Church, but the one ministry that is central to the life of our church is Sunday Morning Worship. Perhaps not all of us serve as musicians, greeters, ushers, Sunday School teachers, or in any of the many other roles of our church's Sunday morning life. But all of us do serve the Lord when we join together as a community of believers to lift our hearts, voices, and ears to Him in worship. Both of our Sunday morning worship services at Bethany are geared for the entire family:
Our 8:30 A.M. Traditional Service features time-tested hymnody led with organ and piano, along with carefully-selected newer worship songs.
The second worship service at 10:45 A.M. is a Contemporary Service featuring the latest worship songs led by a worship band, along with updated arrangements of classic hymns.
Both Services feature Bible-based, practical preaching along with prayer, scripture, monthly communion, and giving opportunities. Our second service is regularly Interpreted for the Deaf.
The third Sunday of the month in September, October and November we have Vespers Services at 6:00 P.M. These contemplative services vary in style, using music and liturgy from various traditions including Taizé, Celtic, Anglican, and others.
